Senior Corporate Planner

Key Responsibilities: 

Additionally the incumbent will support the work of the Group COO in maximizing total financial returns from the resulting portfolio of businesses and investments, including gains from the planning, timing and effective execution of exit transactions. 

  • Evaluate merger and acquisition transactions, as well as major strategic initiatives
  • Carry out research projects, and valuation analyses as assigned
  • Perform analytical reviews of selected portfolio company development projects and new business initiatives (including M & A transactions)
  • Assist with executing due diligence exercises for M & A transactions
  • Assist with integration projects related to M & A transactions
  • Assist with the implementation and project management of new business ventures
  • Maintain research facilities to ensure fast and effective access to key analytical data
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or professional equivalents
  • A minimum of eight to ten (8 - 10) years’ professional experience in financial management, public accountancy, internal audit, management consulting or strategic/corporate planning
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation would be an asset
