Mechanics for Cash Prizes for Individual Users of GK One Prepaid Visa Card & App
One hundred (100) GK One app users who receive a money transfer in their GK One Wallet during the ‘Qualifying Transaction Period’ will be randomly selected to win $10,000 each.
The first six hundred and twenty five (625) GK One app users who sign up for the GK One Prepaid Visa Card during each ‘Qualifying Transaction Period’ will win $1,000 each. This will be credited to their GK One card within twenty (20) business days of the draw date.
Prize Descriptions
There will be a total of one hundred (100) cash prizes valued at $10,000 each and a total of two thousand five hundred (2,500) cash prizes valued at $1,000 each for GK One App users.
Prize Draws & Winner Selection for Prizes
Winners of $10,000 each will be selected by random drawings from all Qualifying Transactions according to the drawing schedule.

Winner Selection
- Twenty-five cash prize winners will be selected at random weekly from the daily report of Western Union inbound remittances database in the GK One app. The process entails logging into the GK One Management Portal using company-issued credentials, entering the “Qualifying Transaction Period’ (please refer to the table above), then entering the number of winners for the period e.g., 25 for May 1-10, 2023. Cash prizes will be transferred to the winners’ GK One Prepaid Visa Cards within one month of each draw date.
- The first six hundred and twenty-five winners from the weekly report of GK One Prepaid Visa card registrants in the GK One app will be awarded $1,000. The process entails logging into the GK One Management Portal using company-issued credentials, entering the “Qualifying Transaction Period’ (please refer to the table above), then entering the number of winners for the period e.g., 625 for May 1-10, 2023. Cash prizes will be transferred to the winners’ GK One Prepaid Visa Cards.
- Representatives of the Betting Gaming and Lotteries Commission (BGLC) can oversee the selection process on all draw dates in person or via our online conference platform, Microsoft Teams. A link to this platform will be furnished by GKMS representatives, Ayanna Kirton Hynes (Marketing Manager, Remittances) or Bianca Ferguson Duncan (Marketing Officer, Remittances) on request and the screen share feature will be employed for the BGLC representative to oversee the process if online oversight is selected.
- Prize winners will be selected at random using the drawing tools at GraceKennedy Financial Group, 42-56 Harbour Street, Kingston at 2 PM.
Odds of Winning
Odds of winning depend upon the number of Qualifying Transactions during the Promotional Period. Any expenses not specifically identified as part of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner. Winners will be announced on our social media platforms @gkmsonline after the scheduled drawing. All drawings shall be conducted by the Sponsors. All decisions are final.
General Rules
- The opportunity to enter to win the cash prizes for individuals is open only to persons residing in Jamaica who are 18 years of age or older.
- Employees of Sponsor, GraceKennedy Money Services, Western Union and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members (mother, father, and children) are not eligible to enter the promotion.
- In the event that we intend to use an image of a winner for advertising purposes the winner will be required to sign a talent release form upon acceptance of a prize that constitutes permission to the Sponsor and its agencies to use the winner’s name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
- Winners will forfeit the prize in the event they refuse to sign the talent release form to grant permission to GraceKennedy Money Services and its agencies to use their names and likenesses for advertising purposes.
- Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Promotion or Redemption of any Prize.
- Winners’ cash prizes will be loaded to their GK One wallet in the GK One app within one month of each draw date.
- By participating in this Promotion, Entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules. Any claim or dispute arising under these rules is subject to the ruling of the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission.
- Prizes are not transferable.
- Authorized under Section 58(3) of the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act.
